ONSIDE Entrepreneur Spotlight: Kathleen Cerrer, Founder, SOFT Minimal Wellness

Based in Vancouver, BC, Kathleen Cerrer is the founder of SOFT MINIMAL Wellness, a wellness brand designed to support women who feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life.

Founded in 2022, SOFT MINIMAL Wellness began as Kathleen’s personal practice for managing stress and has since grown into a thoughtful wellness community. The brand’s first product, the My Daily Self Journal, offers a structured five-minute daily practice centered on gratitude, reflection, and emotional reset.

What started as a tool for personal grounding has evolved into a broader mission: supporting women in reconnecting with themselves, cultivating personal growth, and developing sustainable habits that create a sense of ease in everyday life.

Growth Through ONSIDE

From Idea to Impact with the ONSIDE Start Now Incubator

“When I joined the ONSIDE Start Now Incubator, I had an idea—but no clear roadmap. I was looking for a flexible, virtual program that supported women entrepreneurs, and ONSIDE provided exactly that.

The incubator helped me build confidence and clarity around my business, guiding me from idea validation to a tangible, market-ready product. The structured learning, clear timelines, and mentorship removed the overwhelm and gave me a sustainable path forward. For the first time, I had dedicated time and space to work on my business, not just think about it.

Equally impactful was the peer support. Being surrounded by women at different stages of their journeys helped normalize the challenges of entrepreneurship and made growth feel achievable instead of intimidating.”

Impact, Community & What’s Next

Building a Sustainable Wellness Community

“Since launching SOFT MINIMAL Wellness, I’ve seen consistent growth and continue to refine my offerings with intention. In addition to the journal, I’ve built a growing community through newsletters and social platforms—and most recently, I launched a podcast.

The podcast was created as another entry point into the SOFT MINIMAL Wellness community, offering practical tools for personal growth. Each episode supports listeners in building sustainable habits they can apply in everyday life. It allows people to engage, feel less alone, and connect with like-minded individuals navigating similar challenges.

Moving forward, my focus remains on sustainable growth, intentional decision-making, and building a wellness brand that prioritizes patience over pressure. I believe in starting before things feel perfect, asking for support, and growing through community—values that continue to shape everything I create.”
